Red Hook Fest

Red Hook Fest is one of NYC’s most exciting annual events. Over the course of 2 days, audiences enjoy free barbecue, a DJ dance party, stunning professional performances by NYC’s leading socially conscious musicians and dancers, a host of pre-professional youth performances. Located on the scenic Red Hook, Brooklyn waterfront, audiences enjoy stunning music and dance performances with spectacular views. Hook Arts Media partners with many organizations to bring additional free resources, education, and services to each year’s event. Activities include scavenger hunts, reading tents, a “tot town,” a maker’s market showcasing NYC artisans and craftspersons, and free kayaking on the harbor. In 2018, Red Hook Fest celebrated 25 years with a historic move to IKEA’s Erie Basin Park and the first annual maker’s market, showcasing New York’s own craftspeople and small business owners.

The 26th Annual Red Hook Fest, the FREE live music and dance festival on the Brooklyn waterfront, will return in 2019! Subscribe to our email list to be among the first to learn about the lineupactivities, and dates.
