Students research the topics that most interest and impact them while developing the pre-professional skills necessary to create, edit, produce, and distribute their original works.

Filmmaking at Hook Arts Media
These programs are made possible with the support of our community partners. In 2013, Hook Arts Media collaborated with Red Hook Initiative, the South Brooklyn Community High School, and Good Shepherd Services to launch a summer filmmaking intensive called Digital Boot Camp. In Transition: Media, our after-school filmmaking program, grew out of the summer Digital Boot Camp, in collaboration with Red Hook Initiative, South Brooklyn Community High School, and Good Shepherd Services.
